General Applications
Dolphin 110 Aquarium Silicone Sealant is a watertight adhesive that is termed as a custom designed solution for stopping leaks in the aquarium. The sealant is formulated with high strength silicone to ensure that the crafting is both permanent and safe.
The sealant is flexible to ensure that it does not crack or shrink when applied, so that it always forms a long-lasting fix. It’s a single component Acetic cure sealant, which is cured by atmospheric moisture to form a high strength rubber seal with excellent adhesion. The product is no toxic and if safer for internal applications.
Procedure for usage of Dolphin 110 Aquarium Silicone Sealant – How to Use?
The substrate areas that will be in direct contact with the sealant must be clean, pat dry and free of all loose materials like dust, dirt, rust, oil and other contaminants.
Non – porous substrates should be cleaned with a solvent and a clean, lint – free, cotton cloth. Wipe dry immediately with another such cloth before the solvent evaporates from the surface. Apply masking tape on both sides of joints and then apply sealant using caulking gun.
Immediately tool sealant after application and before skin formation. Tooling of sealant should be done in one continuous stroke. Remove masking tape immediately after tooling is completed.
